“Unverified” means we have not yet confirmed the engine in that country. We still ask, and an empty answer is recorded as “not checked”, never as 0%.
Questions about engines
They search different indexes, trust different sources and are tuned differently. Even Google's AI Overviews, AI Mode and Gemini often differ from each other. That is why we measure each one separately and label every answer with where it came from.
Each engine has a published credit rate per answer. Every available engine is open to you on paid plans, and you choose how to spend your allowance.
App answers are what a logged-out member of the public sees in the consumer product. API answers come from the developer version. Search availability varies by engine, and the two can name different businesses. Every number is labelled, so the two are never mixed without telling you.
