What you can do
Verify the source of crawler visits.
A crawler counts as verified only when its address matches the operator's published ranges. A matching name from the wrong address is flagged as spoofed.
Daily totals with privacy in mind.
No raw log lines, no client IP addresses and no full user agents are kept: each request is classified and combined into daily totals.
