Draft — pending solicitor review. This is a plain-English draft. It isn't legal advice yet and isn't final until a solicitor has reviewed it.
We only use cookies that the site needs to work. We don't use advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies, so we don't ask you to accept any.
1. Essential cookies
These are strictly necessary. Under UK law they don't need your consent.
| Cookie | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
| sl.session_token and related sl.* cookies | Keeps you signed in and protects your account | Up to 30 days |
| sl_audit_* (one per free check) | Records email verification for a legacy audit; it does not unlock paid insights | 30 days |
| sl_demo_state | Remembers your place in the dashboard demo | 1 day |
2. Bot protection
Our free check uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Turnstile doesn't use cookies to track you across sites. It may store short-lived data in your browser to complete the check. Cloudflare's own privacy policy explains what it does.
3. Preferences
If you pick a light or dark theme, we save that choice in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie. In the dashboard we also save whether keyboard shortcuts are on. Nothing is sent to us.
4. Analytics
We count page views and actions ourselves, without cookies. We use an identifier made by hashing with a salt that changes every day, and we don't store IP addresses. Our privacy notice has the details.
We don't use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or any third-party analytics cookies.
5. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, you won't be able to sign in or access your report.
If we ever add non-essential cookies, we'll ask for your consent first and update this page.
