The short version

Profound and Bluefish are the two best-funded enterprise AI visibility platforms, and both are bought through a demo. Profound (a $180M Series D at a $1.8B valuation, September 2026) leans towards an “AI Marketer” that drafts work for approval, and has SOC 2 Type II, SCIM and self-serve SSO. Bluefish (a $43M Series B, April 2026) sells Monitoring, Optimization and Measurement suites to the Fortune 500, tracks retail assistants such as Amazon Rufus, and says 85% of customers also buy its services. This page compares what each vendor publishes. It isn't a measured test.

Measured data pending

This version uses each vendor's public pages only. Once our vendor index has measured a market, with sample sizes and intervals, we'll add how often AI engines recommend each vendor.

Choose Profound if…

  • You want AI agents that draft content and publish it with your approval.
  • Your security review needs SOC 2 Type II, SCIM and a public trust centre.
  • You need ChatGPT Shopping, prompt volumes or agent analytics across CDN logs.
  • You want a reference price before the first call (its AWS Marketplace listing is $100,000 for 12 months).

Choose Bluefish if…

  • You're a Fortune 500 brand that wants Fortune 500 references.
  • You need retail assistants tracked: Amazon Rufus, Alexa for Shopping, Walmart Sparky.
  • You want onboarding, program operations and strategy services delivered with the platform.
  • You want brand-fact correction built around a vault of first-party facts.

Neither shows a sample size or interval next to its numbers on its public pages. We make Glossy Data, a self-serve alternative to both, so read this page with that in mind; our own head-to-heads are linked below.
